Luke ShetlerPresidentLuke is the current President of ASME at UCF and the previous Director of the EFx TOTB Conference. His responsibilities include leading, managing, and delegating to the rest of the officer team as well as planning and organizing the operations of the club. He is from Destin, FL and loves to be out on the water when he can. Wakeboarding, drumming, learning new musical instruments, and traveling are some of his hobbies. He hopes to work in test engineering alongside the U.S. Military upon graduation.

Zachary is the Vice President of ASME. He likes to think of himself as a visionary and always looks to the stars. He loves to surf when he's back home in Cocoa and he loves to snowboard when he can get to the mountains in California. The automotive industry is his passion and he loves automotive photography, especially if they're pictures of his own car. Learning to be thoughtful of others and their opinions is one motto Zach always likes to take with him. He is excited for the road ahead and can't wait to make ASME the best club at UCF!

Will is our Treasurer. He is in charge of managing ASME’s finances and working to acquire funds for ASME’s endeavors. This academic year he hopes to enable ASME to work on even larger projects and events with the help of more UCF SG funding and sponsorships. Will is studying Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science and hopes to use his education to help him become an entrepreneur in the American manufacturing industry. When not studying or working, Will enjoys spending his free time boating, watching horror movies, and following politics.

Charles is the Secretary of ASME. His responsibilities include taking notes and minutes during meetings, updating the website, and sending out the newsletters. As well as keeping members updated on the current ASME events. Charles is currently a Junior Mechanical Engineering student. He joined ASME Fall 2018 and has been actively involved in the club. Previously Charles served as an SDC Team Lead and EFx Projects Chair lending his leadership capabilities, technical knowledge and organizational skills to the task. Charles enjoys watching movies, gaming, hiking and sailing when given the chance. He is also determined to help with organizing ASME so that it can be the best that it can be!

Kyle Is the Workshops Chair for ASME. He works to develop interesting and innovative opportunities for members to connect with industry professionals while developing essential technical skills. Along with developing workshops for EFx Think Outside the Box, Kyle has previously spent 4 years in the event development industry focusing on weddings and show floor conferences. A self proclaimed theatric, his previous experience in show development led him to pursue a career in theme park design with a focus on ride control systems. He also enjoys archery, hiking, and visiting as many National Parks as he can. He looks forward to engaging with every member of ASME this year.

Jean is the Internal chair for ASME. Jean is from Fort Myers, Florida, and is currently majoring in Computer Science here at UCF. Jean received his Associates in Arts from Florida Southwestern State College and transferred to UCF in Fall 2019. He plans to continue his education up to his Ph.D. and aspires to work as a Robotics Engineer in the Bioengineering Sector for a major tech company. In his free time, Jean loves to work on graphic designs and be outdoors.

Margeaux is the External Chair of ASME. Her responsibilities include reaching out to engineering companies for tours and planning community service events. This is Margeaux’s second year at UCF but she plans on graduating with her BSME by December 2021. She is from the space coast and hopes to one day return working in the space industry. Margeaux loves being outdoors and exploring new places. She also loves meeting new people so never be afraid to approach her with any questions.

Jahnvi is one of the Project chairs of ASME. Her responsibilities are comprised of designing, managing and sustaining projects within the club. She is expected to graduate May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She hopes to encourage abstract thinking through innovative projects as well as the implication of new technical skills. Ever since she was a kid, she enjoyed hands on building activities and her career was set after attending a National Student Leadership Conference in Washington for Engineering. Her hobbies include listening to music, going on adventures with friends and spending time with her family especially her puppy, Princess.

Janice is the Social Media & Design Chair of ASME. Her responsibilities include aiding in social media and creative design of ASME. Janice is a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She has been involved in ASME through the IREC autonomous launch rail project. Besides ASME, she is also involved in Burnett Honors College’s Honors Congress and some of the Asian student organizations on campus. After graduating, Janice hopes to one day work in the space industry but also travel around the world. Outside of school and studying, you can find her playing the piano, drawing, and exploring new places with her friends.

Evan is the Marketing Director of ASME. His responsibilities include overlooking marketing strategies, promoting club events, and helping to increase club awareness. Evan grew up wanting to be a mechanical engineer with his love of science and mathematics. He also has a creative side to him including art and music as well as being one of UCF's DJs. He hopes to one day inspire others and create a sense of awe in his work as an engineer.

Bradley is the Events and Development Chair. He is in charge of organizing events that help improve ASME members' growth as engineers. This Chair is usually in charge of organizing large events. There may not be much opportunity to have many large events due to covid-19, but Bradley is working hard to find some opportunity for members. Bradley is a central Florida Native and a transfer student.

Jack is one of the Project chairs at ASME. His responsibilities include creating, supervising and maintaining projects within the club. He is a Junior and Electrical Engineering Major. He hopes to bring new and creative projects to ASME as well as continue the success of current projects. His goal is to provide every ASME member with new technical skills that they can use both on their projects, as well as in their own careers. Jack is looking to conduct undergraduate research in the fall, and specializes in working with 3D printers and CAD design.

Silence is the fundraising chair. His position consists of planning and organizing fundraising events for ASME. These range from partial proceeds at Bento to the Daytona 500. He is a Senior Mechanical Engineering Major and expects to graduate in spring. Silence is hoping to provide fun and enjoyable ways to raise money to support the clubs everyday activities. Some of his hobbies include working-out, mini-golf, bowling, soccer, and basketball. Silence is looking forward to helping out ASME in any way to help improve the club for the future.
