The American Society of Mechanical Engineers student chapter at the University of Central Florida. ASME is a national non-profit organization that enables skill development and career enrichment across all engineering disciplines. We encourage all majors to join and be involved.

As a student organization at UCF, ASME help students develop their professional identities by offering access to wide range of activities such as projects, workshops, socials, tours, and volunteering! We also have General Body Meetings to reach out about our plans for the semester so come on out!
ASME at UCF Upcoming Events
Monday, March 6th we will be hosting our biggest event of the spring semester! The Themed Entertainment Design Panel is ONE WEEK away! Join us in welcoming the following companies as they give us insight into what it takes to create a magical experience: Disney, Universal, Roush, Falcon’s Creative Group, Bungalow Scenic Studios, and AOA. The 45+ professionals in attendance come from a variety of backgrounds including engineering, project management, show programming, scenic design, and more! The event kicks off with an industry Q&A panel, with all new panelists, and then moves into open networking and Chick-fil-a. Entrance is first come first serve, so make sure to arrive early. This Thursday, March 30th will be GBM #4 with special guest speakers! We will be holding elections for the new executive officer board! Come on out if you are interested in learning more about becoming an officer! There will be a merch table set up with our bucket hats, koozies, and new stickers! And as always, we will have pizza and drinks!
