Rube Goldberg Machine Teams of up to 4 will design and construct a machine intended to complete a predetermined final goal through the sequence of various unrelated tasks organized in an intentional chain-reaction. Submissions will be in video format. Must be shot in one take, with the exception of intro/closing clips (not required). The guidelines and rubric can be found here! Dates:

Goodknight Festival of Speed In teams of up to four, your goal will be to design and create a wooden remote-controlled car from the ground up and race around a track in the fastest time possible! The chassis will be produced using the Laser Cutting machine, located inside the TI Lab in the Engineering II building.

ASME Sterling Engine Design Design and manufacture a working Sterling engine that can generate mechanical work via heat energy. Teams of up to four will work to design the most energy efficient Sterling engine!
Sumo Competition Join a team and get to build a Sumo Robot to defeat other teams! Utilize skills taught in the classroom and workshops to compete in a Robot Sumo Tournament.
