Officer Applications 2022-2023

Committee Board
All applicants are expected to submit their resumes and a headshot. These positions will be interviewed by the newly elected Executive Board after Election Day.
Committee Positions:
  • Internal Projects Chair- As this chair you create projects for our members and oversees all semester-long projects such as Sumo Bots. Gains experience in team building, interview exposure, and project planning.
  • External Projects Chair - Oversees ASME National Competition Teams (SDC, IAM3D, and HPVC) and assists with internal projects. 
  • Workshops Chair- As this chair you collaborate to develop workshops for our members to gain professional and technical experience as well as coordinate with industry professionals.
  • External Chair- As this chair you work on relations outside of campus, organize industry tours and reach out to potential speakers for our club.
  • Internal Chair- As this chair you work on bridging connections between members and other on-campus organizations through socials planning and networking planning.
  • Fundraising Chair- As this chair, you organize and encourage members to get involved with a variety of events and seek out sponsors from local companies.
  • Marketing Chair- As this chair, you are the outreach leader for ASME and work to find new opportunities for members to join.
  • Media and Design Chair- As this chair, you are the lead designer for the club handling all social medias and creating flyers that are eye-catching.
  • Events & Development Chair- As this chair, you will help create the much larger scale events for the club including conferences as well as the overall development of the club.
  • Volunteer & Outreach Chair - Organizes volunteering events and STEM Outreach (stem day and E-week).
